This policy explains what personal data synkpay.co collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. Personal data we process as an Employer of Record on behalf of a client — employee payroll and HR data — is governed by the services agreement and data processing addendum signed with that client, not by this page.
SynkPay is a brand of Synk Consulting Group Private Limited, a company incorporated in India and based in the Delhi NCR region. For the personal data described on this page we are the data controller. Our full registered details are available on request.
Privacy questions and rights requests: contact@synkpayroll.com.
The form behind the “Get Started” button collects your name, email address, company name and the message you write. We also record which page you submitted from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch.
Our India and Australia employee cost calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to us while you use them. If you ask for the cost breakdown as a PDF, we collect your name, email address and company name, together with the figures you entered into the calculator, so we can build the document and send it.
Call bookings are handled by Calendly, embedded on our site. When you open the booking widget we pass your name, email and company to Calendly to pre-fill the form if you have already given them to us. Calendly sets its own cookies and shows its own notice; what it does with that data is described in Calendly's privacy policy.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address and browser user agent. We use these to keep the site available and to protect it from abuse.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These load only if you accept cookies — see section 7. If you reject or have not yet answered, no analytics script is loaded at all.
What you send us is held in the business systems we use to handle enquiries and manage client relationships — our email and the tools our commercial team works in. Access is limited to the people who need it to reply to you or to run the engagement.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
We use third-party service providers to run this site and our business. They act on our instructions, and each sees only what it needs to. The categories are:
We keep a current list of the providers that process personal data on our behalf. Email contact@synkpayroll.com and we will send it to you.
We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. We will disclose it where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We are based in India and several of our providers are in the United States, so personal data you send us is transferred outside the EEA and the UK. Where that data originates in the EEA or the UK, transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. A data processing addendum incorporating those clauses is available on request at contact@synkpayroll.com.
No analytics or advertising cookie is set until you accept. Until then the Google Tag Manager script is not loaded, so nothing it would normally set exists on your device. If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads and Google Analytics sets cookies used to distinguish visitors and measure sessions.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page. Rejecting cookies does not restrict anything on this site.
One item: synkpay-consent-v1, which records your cookie choice. It is strictly necessary — without it we would have to ask you on every page. It is held in local storage rather than as a cookie, and clearing your browser site data removes it.
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data; to have it corrected or erased; to restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time without affecting what came before.
Email contact@synkpayroll.com and we will respond within one month. We do not charge for this. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. Where the change is material we will say so rather than expecting you to notice.
